Arden, North Carolina (March 25, 2021) — The Down East Boys have reached the No. 1 spot on two Southern Gospel charts with the latest single from their album, Faithful Still. “What Love” is at the top of both the Singing News Power 50 Weekly Chart and the SGN Scoops Southern Gospel chart.
“It is always an honor to see our songs reach the #1 position!” says Ricky Carden, Down East Boys’ lead singer. “‘What Love’ is a simple yet powerful message of Christ love for us. It is the message that we strive to share every time we get to sing. Romans 5:8 says, ‘In that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’ ‘What Love’he showed for us!”
“What Love” — which follows other No. 1 songs like “Beat Up Bible,” “Testimony Time,” “I’d Like To Tell It Again,” and “Amazing Amounts of Amazing Grace” — is from the Down East Boys’ album Faithful Still, which spreads God’s word with themes of hope, love and faithfulness.
